I find that people often prefer to take my workshops in the Spring because I teach techniques &#8212; not projects, which are more marketable in the Fall as people scramble to make gifts for the holiday season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So without further ado, here&#8217;s the list of my appearances and workshops in 2019!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>January 19-20, Pawtucket, RI<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be vending my books and patterns at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/234283990846387\/\" target=\"_blank\">Slater Mill Knitting Weekend<\/a>! I&#8217;ll also be teaching an Intro workshop there on Sunday morning but that is SOLD OUT! Still, drop by and see me at the vendor area all weekend!<\/li><li><strong>January 25-27, New York, NY<\/strong>: I&#8217;ve got two SOLD OUT workshops at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vogueknittinglive.com\/newyork19\" target=\"_blank\">Vogue Knitting Live<\/a>. My books and patterns will be with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/ladydyeyarns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lady Dye Yarns<\/a>, who will be making their second VKL appearance in NYC this year!<\/li><li><strong>February 21-24, Santa Clara, CA<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be teaching 6 workshops at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.knittinguniverse.com\/West2019\" target=\"_blank\">Stitches West<\/a>! This is my 5th time appearing there and it&#8217;s always a great time. There are still spaces in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.knittinguniverse.com\/expos\/92\/0\/class_list\/?class_search=&amp;class_times=all&amp;teacher_id=203207&amp;tag_id=0\" target=\"_blank\">my intermediate\/advanced workshops<\/a>! My books will be sold at the Yarn Guys\/Wall of Yarn booth, and I will be doing book signings at 5pm on Friday and 12:30pm on Sunday.<\/li><li><strong>March 28-31, Loveland, CO<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be teaching 8 workshops (several of which are repeats) at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.interweaveyarnfest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interweave Yarn Fest<\/a>! I&#8217;ve been away from this venue for 2 years, so I&#8217;m looking forward to returning. I&#8217;m not yet sure who&#8217;s going to be vending my books, so stay tuned. There&#8217;s still plenty of room in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/interweaveyarnfest.com\/Events\/Loveland,CO\/Workshops\/tabid\/1714\/EventID\/153\/Default.aspx?cgroup=Instructor\" target=\"_blank\">most of my workshops<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>April 27-May 5, Cambridge, MA<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be hosting my own event called the <a href=\"http:\/\/double-knitting.com\/buildingblox\/\">BuildingBlox Workshop Week<\/a>, in which I will be teaching one of EVERY class I offer! This is an unprecedented opportunity to take classes that don&#8217;t run frequently. It&#8217;s not a retreat; there is no scheduled activity outside of the workshops, but Cambridge is beautiful in the Spring and there is much to do if you are coming from away. If you&#8217;re local, it&#8217;s convenient to the T and parking as well.<\/li><li><strong>May 31-June 2, Atlanta, GA<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be teaching 4 workshops at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knittinguniverse.com\/United2019\">Stitches United<\/a>&#8216;s new location in Atlanta!<\/li><li><strong>September 20-22, Amherst, MA<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be returning to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yarn.com\/pages\/webs-knitting-retreat\" target=\"_blank\">WEBS Fall Retreat<\/a> to teach 4 workshops &#8212; specific curriculum TBD. I&#8217;ll be vending my own books there (and WEBS will have them in stock as well).<\/li><li><strong>September 27-29, Bakersfield, CA<\/strong>: I&#8217;ll be running two instances of two workshops (specifics TBD) at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/what-the-knit.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">What The Knit?
